Jarvien and the Ice Dragon.

Updated: Oct 15

Chapter One: The Dreams of Destruction

Jarvien jolted upright in bed, gasping for breath. His chest heaved as if he had been running for miles, but it was just the dream, again. The white serpent-like dragon, coiling around stars, constricting the cosmos until everything imploded into darkness. It was always the same. The sky cracked open like shattered glass, and the stars blinked out one by one, swallowed by the dragon’s cold, white scales.

He rubbed his eyes and glanced at the clock. 3:23 AM. The same time as every night for the past two weeks.

He swung his legs off the bed, feeling the cool touch of the polished floor beneath his feet. Outside his window, Vaporwave City glowed in soft neon hues, the skyline pulsing with pinks, blues, and greens. The streets were quiet, bathed in a soothing mist that always seemed to linger at night. From here, the city looked peaceful, but Jarvien’s mind couldn’t settle.

He wandered into the living room, the gentle hum of technology greeting him as he passed his holo-screen. He needed answers. Ever since the dreams started, something inside him had changed. It was subtle at first, like a vibration just at the edge of his consciousness. But then, the vibrations became more like pulses. And last night, he could almost hear them, waves of sound coming from some distant, unknown place.

He sat cross-legged in the centre of the room, taking a deep breath. Meditation was the only thing that seemed to calm the restlessness. Closing his eyes, he began to clear his mind, letting his thoughts drift away like clouds dispersing in a storm. The moment his mind settled into the quiet space, he felt it again, those strange sonic waves, faint but distinct.

They were coming from somewhere beyond Earth. Somewhere far, far away.

The pulse was clearer this time, like a call from deep within the cosmos. Jarvien’s heart raced. There was a message in the waves, something ancient and powerful. He focused harder, trying to catch the rhythm of the waves, and then it hit him like a blast of cold air.

The Ice Galaxy.

His eyes opened calmly. The image of swirling ice and crystal-clear stars filled his thoughts. He could almost feel the frigid air on his skin, see the shimmering glaciers stretching into infinity.

Telekinetically, the fridge opened. A carton of milk floated to him, along with his favourite Cosmic Strawberry Candy cereal and his favourite pink bowl. The milk carton and cereal box opened. Both poured themselves into the bowl. Jarvien then telekinetically opened one of the kitchen cabinets and floated a screen to him.

He then signalled for the holographic screen to approach him. The screen floated to him.

“Turn on the Intergalactic World Cup.” He commanded.

The holoscreen turned on and switched to a live broadcasting of the final Intergalactic Football match of the world cup.

“Today, a miracle might happen in the Ice Galaxy for the whole world to witness. Earth might win the Intergalactic Football Cup for the first time.” The commentator spoke.

Jarvien was still amused and surprised by the fact that his friends, Zenia, Lilith, Kazan, Olly, Celeste and Elizabeth had not only made it to Earth's team, but to the Intergalactic Football Cup finals as well. He watched intently as Zenia was about to score an ultimate goal. However, he noticed a tiny glitch on the screen just before she did.

“That wasn't an ordinary glitch. That was a disturbance in the space time continuum. Did they just teleport somewhere and back in less than a second?” Jarvien sighed. “What are those guys up to now?”

He then turned off the holoscreen and floated the cutlery to the dishwasher, which closed and turned on immediately. Jarvien then walked back to his room and sat on his bed. He looked outside at the glistening night sky.

“I'll know just what to do in the morning.” He said as he lay underneath the covers and drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, Jarvien freshened up and wore one of Santino's oversized hoodies. When he walked to the kitchen, he found Santino cooking breakfast.

“Morning sunshine.” Santino greeted.

“What time did you get home?” Jarvien asked.

“A few minutes ago.” Santino replied.

“How was your mission with Commander Divus?” Jarvien asked.

“Exhausting. The Intergalactic Military still can't figure out why all these strange things are happening in The Cosmos.” Santino replied as he handed Jarvien a bowl of spicy ramen noodles.

Jarvien’s cheeks flushed red as he used a pair of chopsticks to eat the ramen quickly. He was always hungry in the morning. He finished the ramen in no time. Santino watched him endearingly. Jarvien got up quickly.

“Which reminds me, I've got to go somewhere!” Jarvien said as he got up and grabbed his backpack.

“Where're you headed?” Santino asked.

“To the Ice Galaxy. See you later!” Jarvien said as he ran out of the door leaving Santino bewildered.

“Ice Galaxy?” Santino asked himself. “What the hell is he up to now?”

Chapter Two: Journey to the Ice Galaxy

The cold hit Jarvien the moment he emerged from the leap, the kind of cold that reached past flesh and bone, gripping his soul. He stood motionless for a moment, blinking in awe at the surreal landscape that surrounded him. His breath billowed into clouds, crystallising almost instantly in the freezing air.

The Ice Galaxy.

It was even more incredible than he had imagined. Beneath his feet, the glacier stretched out in every direction, a massive sheet of shimmering ice that reflected the distant stars and the ethereal glow of nebulae swirling above. The sky, an otherworldly blend of purples and deep blues, was streaked with cosmic light, each flicker mirrored in the ice below. Towers of jagged ice formations loomed like ancient spires, their tips glowing faintly as if imbued with their own cosmic energy.

Jarvien had seen a lot in his short lifetime, but nothing like this.

He began to move, his boots crunching softly over the frosted ground. Despite the immense beauty around him, there was a strange stillness in the air.

“Something’s off.” He said to himself. “But then again, in The Cosmos something's always off. But something's uniquely off about this place.” Jarvien scanned the area intently as he walked.

He couldn’t quite place it, but the air felt thick with an unspoken tension, as though the very galaxy itself was holding its breath.

Ahead, he saw movement. Shadows cutting across the ice. As he approached, Jarvien realized they were people, moving in groups, their breath fogging up in the cold. Clad in thick, futuristic coats, they hurried between various makeshift structures, clustered around the base of the largest glacier. It looked almost like a settlement, with angular buildings carved out of the ice itself, glowing softly from within.

He reached the edge of the bustling outpost and approached a group of workers unloading equipment. A middle-aged man, wrapped in layers of protective gear, looked up from what he was doing, squinting at Jarvien with curious eyes.

"You don’t look like you’re from here," the man said, his voice muffled by a scarf wrapped tightly around his face. "You one of the travellers? Here for the spectacular arena?"

Jarvien shook his head, still taking in the strange mixture of industry and isolation that defined the place. "Not exactly. But what's this about a spectacular arena?"

The man straightened up, glancing behind him at the ice formations. "It’s what draws most folks here. The sports. We’ve got some of the best events in the galaxy. Glacier racing, iceboarding, even some zero-grav competitions between the stars. But things have been... different lately."

“Different how?” Jarvien asked, feeling the unease in the man's voice.

“Freak weather. Strange quakes. Parts of the ice shift when they shouldn't. We've had anomalies in the atmosphere for weeks now. No one knows what's causing it.” The man lowered his voice. “But the locals say it’s the mountain—the Omelas Glacier. They say something ancient’s been stirring in the ice.”

Mountain Omelas. Jarvien felt a jolt of recognition at the name. The sacred and feared glacier he had seen in his visions.

"Is there a way to get there?" Jarvien asked.

The man gave him a strange look. "You serious? People don’t go near Omelas unless they’ve got a death wish. That place is cursed. The only thing up there is ice, death, and whatever ancient spirit haunts it."

Jarvien swallowed the sudden knot of tension in his throat but nodded. "I need to go. It’s important."

The man’s face softened with concern, but he shrugged. “Your life, kid. The mountain’s north of here. If you follow the ridge for a few kilometres, you’ll see it. Just be careful. The weather up there gets nasty fast, and there’s something in the air that messes with your head. It’s like the mountain knows you’re coming.”

“Sounds like my kind of party.” Jarvien said.

Jarvien thanked him and set off in the direction of Omelas, his thoughts racing. The further he walked, the more isolated the land became. The crowds of sports enthusiasts and workers disappeared, leaving only the quiet expanse of ice and the ever-watchful stars. As he approached the northern ridge, the air grew colder still, biting into his skin like shards of glass.

Mount Omelas towered in the distance, its peak lost in swirling mists. Even from this distance, Jarvien could feel the weight of its presence. It was more than just a mountain of ice. It was as though the very spirit of the galaxy rested within it. Trapped, waiting.

He froze, staring at the peak. He was certain of it now. A powerful soul was in there, waiting to be freed. The dreams, the strange sonic  waves he had felt. Everything had led him here. But the closer he got, the more he realised this wouldn’t be an easy journey. The mountain loomed like a final barrier, guarding the secrets that lay within.

With a deep breath, Jarvien began his ascent toward Mountain Omelas, his mind sharp with purpose. Whatever lay ahead, he knew one thing for certain. It was only the beginning.

A gust of wind howled across the mountain, and for a moment, Jarvien thought he heard a voice. Not a voice in the wind, but in his mind. Faint, echoing. The same call he’d heard before, back on Earth.

“Where is Lilith Neith?” A thunderous voice asked.

“Probably celebrating Earth’s victory for the Intergalactic Cup.” Jarvien answered.

“And who are you?” The thunderous voice asked.

“I'm the Quantum Leaper. I picked up on your sonic waves.” Jarvien answered.

“You're the first person out of the Neith clan that can hear me.” The voice said.

“Yeah well, I guess I'm special. So, tell me, what is it you want? Why are you interfering with the Quantum Realm through sonic waves?” Jarvien asked.

“My name is Frost. The ancient dragon that formed this Galaxy. I've been trapped In this mountain for aeons. I've been sending out sonic waves into The Cosmos for billions of years hoping that someone from the Neith Clan would heat me. But it seems that you have a stronger soul transcendence power than Ziz Neith, or anyone from the Neith clan for that matter.” The thunderous voice said.

"My power is not soul transcendence. It is Quantum Transcendence." Jarvien replied.

"I see." The thunderous voice said. "Well, if that is correct, then mankind must be in so much trouble that even the Neith clan has grown weaker, thus losing their soul transcendence power."

"What exactly do you mean?" Jarvien asked.

Chapter Three: Jarvien meets Frost

The ascent up Mountain Omelas was far more treacherous than Jarvien had anticipated. The air thinned as he climbed, and the cold became unbearable, seeping into his bones despite his gear. Each step felt like a battle against the biting wind that howled through the jagged ridges of ice, as if the mountain itself resisted his approach.

But it wasn’t just the elements. Strange visions flickered at the edges of his mind. He saw cities, bathed in red light, crumbling under the weight of unseen forces. He saw humanity, trapped in a cycle of endless conflict, unable to move forward. It was as if the mountain was showing him glimpses of possible futures. Futures he was somehow meant to prevent. Every time he tried to shake the visions away, they returned, stronger, more vivid.

“You’re close.”

At last, he reached the top. The wind howled louder here, but the air seemed charged, alive. Directly ahead of him, the mouth of a cavern yawned open, its edges lined with jagged icicles that glittered ominously in the faint light of the distant stars. The entrance was dark, foreboding, but Jarvien knew. This was where Frost was imprisoned.

He took a deep breath and stepped inside.

The cavern was vast, its walls made entirely of ice that shimmered with a strange inner light. The floor was slick and smooth, and in the center of the space, an enormous crystalline formation rose from the ground, twisting upward like frozen tendrils reaching toward the heavens. And at the heart of it, trapped within the ice, was the massive, coiled form of the ancient Ice Dragon, Frost.

Even in his imprisoned state, Frost was awe-inspiring. His scales gleamed like polished snow, catching the faint light of the cave and reflecting it in dazzling patterns. His massive wings were folded tight against his body, his long, sinuous neck coiled around himself as though in eternal rest. But his eyes—his eyes glowed with an ethereal blue light, watching Jarvien as he approached.

For a moment, Jarvien was speechless, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of what he was witnessing. He could feel the weight of Frost’s presence pressing against him, ancient and wise beyond anything he had ever known.

"You have come," Frost’s voice resonated through the cavern.  The sound was deep, ancient, filled with the weight of millennia.

Jarvien stepped forward cautiously, his breath fogging the air.

Frost’s massive form shifted slightly within the ice, and Jarvien felt a wave of energy pulse outward, as though the very fabric of the universe trembled with Frost’s awakening.

"You are more than you realize, Jarvien of Earth," Frost said, his glowing eyes narrowing. "You are not just a traveler of time and space. You are one of the few who can hear the cosmic call. One of the few who can break the chains that bind this universe."

Jarvien frowned. "I don’t understand. What chains?"

Frost’s gaze pierced him, and for a moment, the cavern filled with a deep hum, like the sound of the universe itself vibrating. "The cosmos has stagnated, Jarvien. It has ceased to grow, ceased to evolve. For millennia, the universe has been trapped in a cycle of repeating patterns, unable to reach its next state of being. The block that halts this progress lies within mankind."

Jarvien’s mind reeled. The idea was too vast, too abstract. "Mankind? What does humanity have to do with the entire universe?"

Frost’s tail curled within the ice, sending shimmering sparks along the crystalline surface.

"Mankind is more connected to the cosmos than it knows. Humans are not mere inhabitants of the universe, They are its key to the evolution of the entire universe. But they are lost, trapped in material desires and fears, unable to see beyond their current state of existence. Until they transcend, the universe cannot move forward."

Jarvien’s throat tightened. He thought of the visions he had seen while climbing. The destruction, the suffering. "How can mankind transcend?"

Frost’s eyes gleamed brighter, his voice now a low rumble in Jarvien’s mind. "There are few who possess the power to lead mankind toward transcendence. You, Jarvien, are one of them. You are an angel, a being of higher consciousness. You have been given the gift of Quantum Transcendence, the ability to see beyond the limits of time and space, to grasp the deeper truths of the cosmos."

Jarvien’s breath caught in his throat. "An angel? Me?"

Frost nodded slowly. "There are others like you from Earth, each chosen for their unique abilities. But you are the first to awaken. You are the first to hear the call. It is your task to free mankind from its stagnation, to help them transcend their limited existence. Only then will the universe be able to evolve to its next state."

Jarvien’s heart pounded in his chest. This was all too much. Too grand. Too impossible. "But how am I supposed to do that? I’m just me."

Frost’s eyes softened, his voice a low, soothing hum. "You are not alone, Jarvien. The universe has guided you here for a reason. You have already begun the journey, and you will not walk it alone. In time, you will find the others. The other angels. Together, you will lead humanity to its next stage of existence. But first, you must free me."

Jarvien took a step forward, feeling the pulse of energy radiating from the ice. "How?"

Frost’s gaze met his, steady and powerful. "You have the power of Quantum Transcendence. You can see beyond the surface of reality, into the truth of all things. Focus. Feel the flow of energy in the ice. It is not just ice. It is an ancient barrier, a prison forged by cosmic forces to keep me here. You must break it. Only you can."

Jarvien nodded, his heart racing as he reached out, his fingers trembling as they hovered over the frozen surface of the crystal. He closed his eyes, focusing on the energy, feeling it hum beneath his skin, through his bones. The world around him began to fade, replaced by a deeper sense of reality, of connection. He could feel the ice, not as a solid, but as a web of energy, of matter waiting to be transformed.

And then, he reached for it, letting his Quantum Transcendence flow through him.

The ice began to crack.

Chapter Four: The Angel’s Awakening

The cracks spread across the ice, splintering the crystalline structure that had held Frost captive for millennia. The air in the cavern seemed to thrum with energy, humming through the very atoms that surrounded Jarvien. He could feel the immense pressure building as his power surged, flowing through him like a river of light, and yet there was no fear. There was only a strange calm, a deep knowing that this was what he had been meant to do all along.

But as the ice continued to fracture, the weight of the mission bore down on him. The enormity of what Frost had revealed. The stagnation of the cosmos, the role mankind played in it, his own identity as an angel, flooded Jarvien's mind. It felt too vast, too incomprehensible. He had never thought of himself as anyone special. He was just a young man from Vaporwave City, a traveler between realities, but never this. Never an angel tasked with saving the universe.

"How am I supposed to do this?" Jarvien whispered, his voice lost in the rising hum of energy around him.

He closed his eyes, feeling the pulse of the universe itself as it moved through him. His Quantum powers had always been a mystery, something he had barely begun to understand. But now, as he stood on the brink of freeing Frost and unlocking a destiny greater than himself, he could feel the true potential of those powers stirring within him, waiting to be unleashed.

Suddenly, the world shifted around him.

He was no longer in the cavern. Or rather, he was, but not in the way he had perceived it before. The icy walls dissolved, replaced by a tapestry of light and energy. It was as though Jarvien had been thrust into another layer of reality—one where the very fabric of the universe was visible. It shimmered before him, strands of cosmic light weaving together in patterns that stretched beyond his comprehension.

He could see everything. The stars, the galaxies, the swirling clouds of nebulae—each one pulsing with the energy of life, all connected by invisible threads. And then, deeper still, he saw the flow of time, rippling like water through the cosmos, bending and shifting in ways he had never imagined.

His Quantum Realm had opened fully.

In this heightened state of consciousness, Jarvien could feel his mind expanding, taking in the true scope of the universe. And more than that, he could feel the connection between all things. How humanity, in its limited state, was intrinsically linked to the evolution of the cosmos. The block Frost had spoken of became clear now. It was a stagnation that came from within, a blindness to the higher realms of existence. Mankind was trapped in a loop of fear, materialism, and suffering, unable to transcend the barriers it had unknowingly built around itself.

“You see now, don’t you?” Frost’s voice echoed in Jarvien’s mind, steady and deep.

Jarvien nodded, his eyes still closed as he drifted within the Quantum Realm. He could feel it. Could see the potential for humanity’s transcendence. And yet, it felt so far away, so out of reach. How could he, one person, possibly guide an entire species toward that higher state of being?

And then, in a flash, Jarvien saw them.

Other beings, other angels, scattered across the cosmos. They were like him, young, gifted with extraordinary powers, and each of them carrying the weight of a destiny they did not yet fully understand. Flashes of their faces flickered in his mind. Some of them standing against impossible odds, others awakening to their gifts just as he had. But their identities remained shrouded, their paths unclear.

He could feel them, though. They were real, and their presence gave him strength. He wasn’t alone. Together, they would awaken humanity to the truth. Together, they would guide mankind toward transcendence.

The vision faded, and Jarvien found himself back in the cavern, the real world sliding back into focus. His heart pounded with newfound clarity, his mind calm and sharp. He understood now—freeing Frost’s soul was only the beginning. The true challenge lay ahead. He would need to learn how to guide humanity, to awaken them to their potential. But he could do it. He had to do it.

The crystalline ice surrounding Frost groaned, the cracks deepening, radiating outward like veins of light. The dragon’s massive form shifted slightly, a ripple of energy passing through the ancient ice. Jarvien took a deep breath, centering himself as he reached out with his Quantum Transcendence, feeling the flow of energy within the ice, sensing the final barrier that kept Frost imprisoned.

With a single thought, he willed the ice to break.

The cavern exploded with light.

For a moment, Jarvien was blinded as the ice shattered into a million shards, each piece dissolving into pure energy as it was absorbed by the universe. The power of Frost’s release rippled outward, shaking the very foundations of the mountain and beyond. Jarvien felt the force of it hit him like a tidal wave, but instead of being overwhelmed, he stood firm, grounded in the certainty of his mission.

As the light dimmed, Jarvien opened his eyes to see Frost, the mighty Ice Dragon, stretching his wings for the first time in eons. His massive body gleamed with an ethereal glow, his scales reflecting the cosmic light that pulsed through the cavern. He was free.

Frost’s eyes, now fully open and blazing with ancient wisdom, turned toward Jarvien. The dragon’s voice, when it came, was no longer bound by the confines of thought. It resonated through the very air, deep and powerful.

"You have done it, Jarvien. You have freed me."

Jarvien nodded, still catching his breath. "What now?"

Frost’s gaze softened, his massive wings folding against his body. "Now, the true journey begins. Humanity must awaken. You will find the others. Those like you. Together, you will lead mankind toward its next stage of evolution. But be warned. The forces that hold humanity back will not release their grip easily. Darkness will rise to stop you."

Jarvien’s chest tightened. "And what about the rest of the cosmos?"

Frost’s eyes gleamed, his voice low and ancient. "The universe has begun to stir. It will soon evolve, as it was meant to. But only if humanity transcends the limitations of its current existence."

Jarvien swallowed, the weight of the mission settling heavily on his shoulders. But for the first time, he didn’t feel fear. He felt purpose. He had unlocked the full extent of his powers, glimpsed the vastness of the cosmos, and freed one of its most ancient beings. He knew what he had to do now.

As Frost stretched his wings and lifted into the air, his massive form spiraling upward toward the open sky, Jarvien watched him go, feeling the pulse of the universe hum within him.

This was only the beginning.

The angel’s awakening had begun.

Chapter Five: The Crumbling of Ice and the New Beginning

The entire Ice Galaxy trembled.

Jarvien stood at the edge of the cavern, staring in disbelief as the glacier beneath him cracked and shifted with deafening force. The ancient ice that had formed the foundation of this place for eons was beginning to fall apart, dissolving as if the galaxy itself was unmaking the very fabric of its existence. Far below, he could see massive chunks of ice breaking away from the glacier, tumbling into the void. What had once been a serene expanse of ethereal lights and frozen landscapes was now a chaos of collapsing formations.

Above him, Frost soared through the crumbling sky, his massive wings slicing through the air with effortless grace. Freed from his ancient prison, the dragon seemed to glow brighter with each passing second, his form merging with the swirling light and energy of the cosmos. Jarvien felt the ground beneath him shift again, and he staggered as the glacier groaned under the strain of its impending collapse.

He knew this was the end. For the Ice Galaxy, at least. The arena, the homes, the lives built on this frozen world. All of it was coming to an abrupt and inevitable conclusion. The very force that had kept the galaxy stable for so long had been tied to Frost’s imprisonment, and now, with the dragon’s release, the galaxy had no choice but to fall apart.

“It is as it should be.”

Frost’s voice echoed in Jarvien’s mind, calm despite the destruction unfolding around them. The dragon circled above him one last time, his enormous body casting a long shadow over the breaking ice.

"You knew this would happen?" Jarvien called out, raising his voice over the din of collapsing glaciers and howling winds.

“Yes. The Ice Galaxy was never meant to last forever. It was a symbol of stagnation, a place frozen in time. My imprisonment, and the galaxy's formation around it, represented the very block that has kept the universe from evolving. Now that I am free, the ice must give way to something new.”

Jarvien looked down at the vast expanse of breaking ice and scattering people. The inhabitants of the Ice Galaxy were already scrambling for their ships, fleeing the arena as it collapsed. The sounds of evacuation echoed through the thinning atmosphere, and for a brief moment, Jarvien felt a pang of guilt. But then Frost's words echoed through his mind again. This was necessary. The destruction of the Ice Galaxy wasn't just the end of something; it was the beginning of something far greater.

Frost’s massive form dipped low, coming to hover just above the glacier where Jarvien stood. The dragon’s radiant eyes locked with his, and for the first time, Jarvien saw not just the ancient wisdom of the creature, but a deep, abiding trust.

“You have freed me, Jarvien. Now, you must free them.”

Jarvien swallowed hard, the weight of the words pressing down on him. "The others? The angels?"

“Yes. They are out there, scattered across the universe. Like you, they have been given the power to guide mankind toward transcendence. Together, you will awaken humanity and lead them to their next stage of evolution.”

“Is Lilith one of the angels?” Jarvien asked Frost.

“Indeed, she is.” Frost replied.

“I had a feeling.” Jarvien replied. “Goodbye Frost.”

“Goodbye Jarvien. And thank you.” Frost said.

A deep rumble from below shook the glacier once more, and Jarvien instinctively braced himself as the ice split open beneath his feet. The time had come to leave this place.

But as he prepared to teleport back to Earth, he hesitated. He looked up at Frost, who still hovered above him, radiant and free. "What if I fail?" Jarvien asked, his voice barely audible above the chaos.

Frost’s wings beat once, sending a gust of wind swirling through the icy air. “You will not fail. You are one of many, and the universe itself is on your side. Trust in your power. Trust in the others.”

Jarvien nodded, feeling a sense of calm settle over him. The mission was monumental, but for the first time, he didn’t feel overwhelmed. He felt ready. The journey ahead would be long, but he wasn’t alone. The other angels were out there, waiting to be found. And together, they would guide humanity toward the dawn of a new era.

“Go now,” Frost urged, his voice growing distant. “Your true journey begins.”

With a final beat of his wings, the dragon soared higher, disappearing into the swirling cosmos above. As Jarvien watched him go, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe. Not just for the dragon, but for everything that had led him here. He had been an ordinary teenager, plagued by strange dreams and powers he didn’t fully understand. Now, he was an angel, chosen to help shape the future of the universe.

The ground beneath him shook again, more violently this time, and Jarvien knew his time in the Ice Galaxy had come to an end. With a deep breath, he closed his eyes, focusing on the one place that still felt like home.

In an instant, the cold winds and crumbling ice were gone.

When Jarvien opened his eyes, he found himself standing on the familiar streets of Vaporwave City. The neon lights of the city flickered above him, and the hum of distant traffic filled the air. It was as though nothing had changed, but everything had.

The dreams had stopped. The endless visions of destruction and cosmic upheaval no longer haunted him. Instead, there was a sense of peace, a stillness that came with knowing his place in the universe. But there was also an urgency. A calling that he could not ignore.

He looked up at the night sky, where the faint glow of distant stars twinkled against the inky blackness. Somewhere out there, the other angels were waiting. Somewhere out there, the next phase of his mission was waiting to begin.

With a quiet resolve, Jarvien turned and began walking, his mind already reaching out across the vast expanse of the cosmos, searching for the others.

The Ice Galaxy had crumbled, but from its destruction, a new beginning had emerged.

And so, the angel’s true journey had only just begun.

Up next. Jarvien and Lilith. Rise of the angels.
